The past weeks have been filled with hearts, more hearts and a little cupcake in between.
Some of you have been asking about what I planned for Valentine's Day, so here it is. There are a plethora of photos, so beware of your time management...but also enjoy and hope you can be a little inspired to create your own little wonder.
Preschool treats:
We made heart shaped brownies, put them in cellophane and brown paper bags. We printed out labels, made the tags and pinned on heart pins. Enya wore her rock star outfit for the occasion!

Pre-Party:
Making salt dough pendants for necklaces. Painting some of them for the heck of it.

Decorating the house:
My little crafty projects to brighten our home. Notice I found the crown molding shelves in our closet and convinced my hubby to put them up. I love them! The hanging hearts were created by mistake, so I ran with it.
THE PARTY:
We invited the girls in En's CTR 4 class. There were a total of 4 that came. We started off with V-day songs and play, divided into 2 groups and made our crafts. Then we had a "Heart Art" hunt. The girls found hearts that were hidden around the room and when they were found, they put them in their own frame. Voila! instant heart art. It was really interesting to see how they made their art. After, the girls decorated their own cupcakes, with white chocolate hearts and then they passed out their own valentine goodies to each other. En's cards were Mice valentines...easy and quick to make and oh so cute!
