When we moved into our new place in VA, we had a three level home to fill. Automatically we headed for IKEA (our favorite furniture and good eats store). My husband suggested we buy a super long table to accommodate us, our future children and the guests that would frequent our home. Along with this table, we purchased 6 black chairs. Little did we know what was to become of those chairs...
...Our second child, Claire, is our most active and curious being in our home (and that is saying a lot!). She was born, seriously reaching her way out of my canal. We call her our Cirque du Soleil child, because she has no fear, loves to fly and maneuvers her body through anything and everything. About a month ago, she discovered that if she wanted something, she could get it...by using a chair.
So, today I decided to do a photo log of her adventures with chair. Here we go!
We went upstairs to play hide-and-go seek. En and I were hiding under my bed. Claire kept running in and out of the room after she found us. But after a few times, she didn't come back. That's when we heard the familiar sound of the black chair.
She has an hourly routine of getting into this side table and taking out everything.
Then, she scooted the chair to the other counter and ate some of the chicken that I just got out of the oven. Even though it was hot, she ate one anyway. Then...
...she crumbled some shortbread cookies into my bowl of stirfry veggies. It was at this time that I found out she loves raw red peppers (seedless, of course).
But, that's my Claire.
We love her, almost as much as those chairs. (wink, wink)
Ok, so it took me a really long time to write captions in the correct place. any tips? the preview is not accurate when published. Hopefully, I'll catch on quick.
ReplyDeleteyou forgot to mention that she is still only one year old! and lucky me gets to watch this little acrobat in an hour :)
